Charge Ready Roadside ReCharge Membership Agreement

1. Membership Overview

Charge Ready, LLC ("Charge Ready") offers an emergency roadside assistance service for electric vehicle (EV) owners within 50 miles of downtown Seattle, Washington. This membership provides mobile EV charging services in emergency situations where the Member’s EV battery is critically low.

2. Membership Term

The membership is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase and will automatically renew annually unless canceled by either party with 30 days' notice before renewal.

3. Membership Fee

  • Annual Fee: $240.00
  • The Membership Fee is payable at the time of enrollment and upon each renewal. This fee is non-refundable except as otherwise provided in this Agreement.

4. Services Provided

  • Emergency Mobile Charging: Membership includes two (2) emergency mobile charging services per year.
  • Service Area: Coverage is limited to 50 miles from downtown Seattle, Washington.
  • Service Request and Delivery:

➔ Members will use the Charge Ready online platform to request emergency services.
➔ Requests must be submitted via the platform using geo-location features to accurately
pinpoint the Member’s location.
➔ Upon receipt of the request, a Charge Ready technician will be dispatched to the
Member’s location to perform the recharge.
➔ Once the recharge is complete, the Charge Ready online platform will automatically
deduct the service call from the two (2) allowed per year.

  • Response: While Charge Ready will strive for prompt service, no specific response time is guaranteed.

5. 30-Day Risk-Free Guarantee

  • Eligibility: The 30-day risk-free guarantee can be activated only after 24 hours from the time of purchase and enrollment.
  • Cancellation Period: You may cancel your membership within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the Membership Fee, provided that no emergency mobile charging services have been used.
  • Activation: To activate the risk-free guarantee, contact Charge Ready via the customer support information provided. If you have utilized any of the included services within the 30-day period, the Membership Fee is non-refundable.

6. Exclusions and Limitations

  • Excess Services: Additional services beyond the two (2) included in the membership year may be available at an extra cost.
  • Out-of-Area Requests: Service requests outside our 50 mile service coverage may incur additional charges or may not be serviced.
  • Non-Emergency Use: This membership is strictly for emergency use. Non-emergency requests may be declined.

7. Member Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: Provide truthful and accurate information during registration and throughout the membership term.
  • Safe Location: Ensure the vehicle is in a safe, accessible location for service.
  • Platform Use: Utilize the Charge Ready online platform to request emergency services and track service usage.
  • Compliance with Laws: Comply with all applicable laws while awaiting and receiving services.

8. Termination of Membership

  • By Member: You may terminate your membership at any time by contacting Charge Ready. The Membership Fee is non-refundable upon termination, except under the 30-Day Risk-Free Guarantee as described in Section 5.
  • By Charge Ready: Charge Ready may terminate your membership for non-payment, misuse, breach of terms, or actions that pose a safety risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Charge Ready is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages related to the services or this Agreement.

10. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify Charge Ready against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the services.

11. Governing Law

  • This Agreement is governed by Washington State law, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

  • This Agreement is governed by Washington State law, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

  • This Agreement constitutes the full agreement between you and Charge Ready and supersedes all prior agreements.

13. Severability

  • If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.

14. Amendments

  • Charge Ready reserves the right to amend this Agreement. Continued use of services after amendments indicates acceptance of the new terms.

15. Notices

  • All notices will be sent via email or certified mail to the addresses provided.
